The Maths Society is run by a committee that is elected by our members. The committee meets weekly to discuss the workings of the Society and our projects. As stated in our Constitution, the committee consists of a President, Treasurer and Secretary. Other roles can be appointed to the committee as required.
President
The President is responsible for the strategic direction of the society and overseeing its day-to-day running.
Secretary
The Secretary is responsible for the administration of the society.
Treasurer
The Treasurer is accountable for money matters within the society, and always open to new sponsors, prize donors or fundraising opportunities.
Membership Secretary
The Membership Secretary manages matters to do with membership in the society.
Competitions Secretary
The Competitions Secretary manages and develops competitions.
Projects Secretary
The Projects Secretary assists in the production of projects.
