This glossy ceramic mug is a design statement, covered in a pattern that never repeats made from a single special shape. Only in 2022 was the ‘Einstein’ shape discovered, an ‘aperiodic monotile’ to give it its mathematical name, the first single shape that could pave the plane forever without repeating itself.
