May Newsletter

Welcome maths enthusiasts to another edition of the Maths Society newsletter, with another serving of thought-provoking maths for you. We investigate the Collatz Conjecture, an algorithm that takes any number and through a series of repeated operations always returns 1 – or does it? And as we move towards the exam season in the UK, and much of the world, everyone here at Maths Society wishes everyone taking tests all the best for the times ahead. I am sure you will do brilliantly, particularly in mathematics!
